Superkarts are a world away from the ‘arrive and drive’ karts you may have raced at your local kart centre. These comparative monsters reach speeds in excess of 140mph and will lap Donington Park at an average speed of over 100mph, setting similar lap times to superbikes!
Such is the power produced, that superkarts can match an F1 car accelerating from 0-60mph, and boast a similar power to weight ratio of the world’s fastest street legal road car, the mighty Bugatti Veyron.
